(Long) Story time!
So I’ve just bought my exclusive Winter Soldier jacket, and I’m still lingering around the Marvel booth. I see someone looking somewhat eagerly around who looks a bit like Osric Chau, so I creep a little closer. Not trusting my judgement, I approach him and ask him if he’s Osric. He confirmed. He was also looking for the end of the line to buy a Winter Solider jacket (b/c the ends are always hard to find), so I point him in the direction I thought it was in so he says his thanks and heads off (but then I forget a few seconds earlier, some Marvel workers told everyone the line was capped off). I felt bad for probably misleading him, so I walk in the direction I sent him off to to see if I didn’t make him more lost. And there I see him casually talking to whom I presume are other fans. Once again, I came up to him (sorry if I intervened in the other Osric fans’ conversation with him) and asked if he was able to get in the line, to which he replies he found out about the line getting capped off :[ Wanting to cheer him up, I offered my Winter Solider jacket for him to keep, cause it wouldn’t be a loss for me if I get to see Osric enjoy wearing it :] The first time I offered it to him, I could see him processing what I just said, and, dare I say, a hint of excitement in his eyes. But after a short consideration, he politely refused. Making sure he didn’t feel bad about taking it if he did actually want it, I offered a few more times, saying that I’m a fan and really wouldn’t mind him taking it, but, being the amazingly sweet man he is, he kindly refused each time, stating that he “couldn’t take this, especially from a fan.” Seriously. SO. SWEET. He did ask if he could look at it, though (which of course any fan would happily oblige). Being the awkward girl I am, I then ask at this random moment if I could take a picture with him, thus the picture shown above (thanks to one of the assumed-Osric-fan for taking the photo).
Sorry for the long post. Just wanted to share this small moment, because even though it’s small, it shows just how friendly and considerate Osric Chau is.

Clark Gregg being an adorable dork.

Here are my ninja highlights of SDCC ‘14. From meeting the brucest RC9GN crew (Alexis, Lynne, and Aaron), to receiving two “ninja” swords, and buying some ninja artwork. I asked Scott Campbell to sign his art, and the mini-ninja doodles under his art were the result.

I see many cosplayers whom I think are dressed up as Randy Cunningham, but then I get a closer look and find out that they’re cosplaying as Hiro from Big Hero 6.

My kind of fight.
